This initiative supports women coffee harvesters in Colombia by funding healthcare, childcare, and sustainable income AND contributes to our club’s efforts to restore our historic 1893 kitchen into a commissary kitchen for women entrepreneurs.

Members are invited to a special Musical Bridges event, hosted by the Peoria Symphony Orchestra Guild and held at the Peoria Women’s Club. This afternoon's gathering will feature oboist James Kim in advance of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra’s Handel at the Cathedral concert.

The Peoria Women’s Club is proud to offer twice-yearly library tours for members participating in Epsilon Sigma Omicron (ESO), an honorary reading sorority sponsored by the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC).
Open to all clubwomen, ESO encourages self-directed education and personal growth through reading across a variety of genres and categories. Our new library tours offer members a chance to:

Hosted by the Peoria Women’s Club, this culinary-themed auction features an array of gently used kitchen treasures—from cookbooks and gadgets to dishes, décor, and more. It's the perfect chance to find something special for your home while supporting a great cause.
Proceeds will help fund the purchase of additional stoneware china place settings for the clubhouse, allowing us to continue hosting elegant, well-appointed events.
You do not need to be present to win—bidding opens at the May 8 Business Meeting and concludes at NOON on Thursday, June 19, during the Carl Sandburg Luncheon featuring Barry Cloyd.

Kristan H. McKinsey, Director of the Illinois Women Artists Project, will present an illustrated lecture on the lives and artistic contributions of several women from central Illinois who pursued creative careers in the 19th and 20th centuries, including two founding members of the Peoria Women’s Club. Through their stories, McKinsey will highlight their significant impact on the region’s cultural history during a time when societal norms largely discouraged women from working outside the home.

Électricité: Illuminating Perspectives
In celebration of Women’s History Month 2025, the Peoria Women’s Club (PWC), in collaboration with the Illinois Women Artists Project (IWAP), is proud to present the inaugural juried exhibition showcasing the work of contemporary female artists from Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties. The exhibition will feature both 2- and 3-dimensional media, and marks the beginning of an annual tradition honoring women and the arts in our community.
Hosted by Peoria Women’s Club, NAWBO, and WIL, we welcome all women in our community to an evening of connection and collaboration to celebrate Women’s History Month and discuss ways we can take collective action to better our community.
Join us for a thought-provoking panel on the challenges and solutions surrounding homelessness in central Illinois.
