We believe that by supporting one another, we can strengthen our families and communities and thus, gain a more inspired life ourselves.

In keeping with the goals and traditions set forth by the founders of the PWC, our members preserve the traditions of the past while incorporating and addressing present day needs, issues and concerns. We hope you will be a part of Peoria Women’s Club as we rebuild and draw inspiration from our amazing founding members, while evolving to meet the needs of modern women in our community. Your support through membership dues goes directly to the operating expenses of the PWC club and clubhouse.

Please note: Because our organization is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, your membership is tax deductible and some employers (like Caterpillar) will match your donation.

  • This is the base level for PWC membership. Your Member level dues include:

    • 25% discount on one private 4-hour rental of clubhouse.

    • Invitation to all monthly events (luncheons, teas, and special events).

    • Access to Members Only section of website.

    • Monthly PWC email newsletter.

    • Membership in state, national and international General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). *GFWC membership for current calendar year only active if you first join prior to January 15th.

  • Dues include everything from General Member Tier, plus:

    • 50% discount on one private 4-hour rental of PWC clubhouse.

    • Recognition in PWC newsletter.

      • *GFWC membership for current calendar year only active if you first join prior to January 15th.

  • Dues include everything from Advocate Tier, plus:

    • Free club t-shirt.

    • *GFWC membership for current calendar year only active if you first join prior to January 15th.

  • Dues include everything from Partner Tier, plus:

    • One private 4-hour rental of PWC clubhouse.

    • Invitation to annual thank you reception at the end of the year.

  • This membership tier is only available to currently enrolled students. Your dues include:

    • Invitation to all monthly events (luncheons, teas, Heirlooms and Hors d’oeuvres, and special events)

    • Access to Members Only section of website.

    • Monthly PWC email newsletter.

    • Membership in state, national and international General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC).

      *GFWC membership for current calendar year only active if you first join prior to January 15th.

  • Our Dove membership is available for young women ages 12-17, who would like to join our organization. We require that a friend or family member who is a regular member attend all PWC events with the Dove member.

  • This membership status is awarded to members who have donated or paid $10,000 throughout their membership.

    Those that are awarded this status may renew their membership at any level and maintain Sustainer status.

    Includes a PWC logo scarf.

Questions? We have answers!

  • Nope! We have members from all over Central Illinois and even one or two out-of-staters. If you’re passionate about what we do, we want you!

  • A newer option you may not be familiar with is monthly payments for dues! Payment plans can be applied to any membership level. If you would like to use this option, please email our Treasurer at treasurer@peoriawomensclub.com

  • Membership dues go directly to the operating expenses of the PWC club and clubhouse. The “General Member” tier is the base level for membership (other than “Student”) and is the minimum payment required to join. If you would like to go above and beyond to support our clubhouse, you can choose to join on a different level.

  • At the moment, we don’t have junior membership, and we require members to be at least 18 years old. But do bring your kids or grandkids to an event to see what we’re all about!

PWC Community Outreach

For decades the PWC has been educating women in the fine arts, literature, public affairs, travel and more. Two of Peoria’s flourishing organizations, the Amateur Musical Club and the Peoria Players, are an outgrowth of the PWC. Our members continue to be active in a variety of community initiatives.
