Join us for a lunch viewing of Bride and Prejudice by Director Gurinder Chadha while enjoying Indian cuisine. This showing is an extension of our Peoria Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle (CLSC) program.
Writer and Educator, Lynette Steger, will be moderating this showing.
Ticket Cost: $5 (please bring to the showing)

A bit about CLSC History: Founded in 1878 at the Chautauqua Institution in Upstate New York, CLSC is one of the oldest book clubs in America. By 1900, there were well over 10,000 CLSC Reading Circles throughout the United States promoting habits of reading and study in nature, art, science, and secular and sacred literature. Chartered in 1886, the Peoria Women's Club (PWC) was created during the Chautauqua adult education and social movement.
In addition to our readings, the Peoria CLSC hosts events throughout the semester for the public relating the books we are reading that year.
Contact Lynette Steger (309) 642-2688 with any questions, and bring a sack lunch if you have any dietary concerns.
